Wanda's Story...
Wanda is a young 3 year old pure-bred Bichon Frise who knows what she wants! She prefers people over other dogs and likes to go for walks or just hang out and watch a movie with her people. She is good with kids and loves to cuddle. She was recently pilot on insulin for slight diabetes but it is possible that with the right diet and by taking off a couple of extra pounds she could reverse the problem (we think the former owner want feeding her what she needed). At any rate she is an easy dog no will make a nice companion for someone who wants a calm lap buddy to stick with them!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wanda, a Los Angeles Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
