Thor's Story...
Meet Thor! An adorable little mix breed dog looking for an adult only, dog experienced home. Thor is a bit reserved when meeting new people and in new surroundings. He will need a patient person who will give him time to warm up and trust you. Once he opens up he is really a nice little dog who will play with you and give you kisses. Thor seems okay around other small dogs but will have to meet any potential house mates to make sure they will get along. A very confident cat that won't run if chased may be alright. Thor came into the shelter with his harness so tight it was almost embedded to his body. He was scared for the first week or so but is now coming out of his shell and showing us what a sweetheart he can be. He may be little but he still wants to go on daily walks and be provided with lots of playtime to keep him and you happy. If you are interested in meeting Thor, please fill out an application at customer service.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thor, a Bellingham Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
