Wilbur's Story...
This adorable little man is Wilbur and he is looking for his loving forever home. Wilbur quickly warms up into a wildly affectionate boy who likes to roll around on his back so you can give him belly rubs. He is also a big fan of putting his paws on your lap so he can give you kisses. He isn't much of one for toys but really likes to go on walks and be by your side. He'll need regular exercise to be a happy and healthy boy. Wilbur will need to be signed up for positive, reward-based training classes before he can go to his new home. He has chased down cats in the past so needs to go to a home without any cats, small animals, or small dogs. Wilbur has a need to act tough with other dogs but can likely live with a really mellow medium or large sized dog. He is a total sweetheart who can live with children aged ten or older. If you are looking for a dynamic sweetheart of a dog and would like to meet Wilbur, please come to the front to fill out an adoption application so you can spend some quality time with him today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wilbur, a Bellingham Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
