Strong Tulip's Story...
Strong Tulip is a gorgeous white and red male. At 66 lbs. he is on the smaller side but has a big loving personality. His foster Mom says he loves to put his head in their shoulder and be loved on. He is living with another Greyhound and gets along well with him. Smaller dogs would need to meet him and see how they get along. He is living with cats but shows too much interest at this time to say he is cat safe. As he learns more about pet life he may be OK with cats. His foster family has 4 girls ranging from a 1 year old up to 13 years old. Tulip is so gentle with the children, seeming to take extra care when he walks around the baby. If you would like to have a handsome new addition to your family please call Janet or Bob to arrange a meeting or to ask additional questions about Tulip. You won't be disappointed. His adoption fee of $250 covers his neuter, teeth cleaning, heartworm test and microchip insertion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Strong Tulip, a Sarasota Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Sarasota, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Sarasota.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sarasota already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sarasota breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sarasota paves the way for another one to be saved.
