Meet DIESEL! He is a special boy awaiting a special home. He is a registered American Pit Bull who has been with us for 4 wks and counting, undergoing an extensive therapy session. Diesel had his ears cropped, and most may not know, BUT it is a VERY painful process if the dogs mess with the ears as they are healing. Diesel did just so; his ears are now scarred and very sensitive to him. Diesel also suffered PARVO as a puppy and was placed on an IV catheter. His trust in humans was ruined as a puppy. He did not understand why he was put through so much and though it was no fault of his family, he had given up hope. He will NOT be allowed to be adopted to a home with children, as he has too much energy and too much body. (He is VERY stout, weighing 65# now, and getting bigger.) He knows sit, stay, down, and LOVES to play fetch! He needs an active home, one who will continue in his training and strive to make Diesel the best he can be. He is good with other dogs and even ignores the cats. He needs love and patience. You must meet Diesel in multiple outings and continue with a training class after adoption. We will also be doing home checks after adoption, at random to ensure his safety. His adoption fee is $200 and includes all training, neuter, vaccinations, microchip, and flea/tick prevention. (sorry, we do not provide registration papers.) Apply to meet him, today!

About Reeds Ranch and Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Reeds Ranch and Rescue is a small group of volunteers who work out of pocket and with donations recieved to help animals in our local community. Our goal is to:
-educate our community on the importance of sterilizing your pets to reduce over population, and euthanized animals.
-educate our community on the importance of vaccinations and regular health checks to ensure longevity.
-educate our community on the importance of keeping your pets safely confined, and providing help in building fences to those in need.
-find forever homes, under spay/neuter contracts, for pets in our community.
We work privately out of our homes to help animals from your smallest kitten to our recent arrival, Sparkles the llama. We are limited on space and very limited on funds.
*We are a 501 (C) (3) Nonprofit Corporation, all donations are 100% tax deductible. Thank you and God Bless.
