Jaci came to us from horrid conditions not suitable for a human to live in let alone a dog. She was living outside in a small pen that was filthy. When SoCo received the call to go out to the house we found her sister in the pen with her, as well as three other dogs wandering around the yard. We knew they couldn't stay there and we didn't have room at the rescue at the time. But we vowed to get them out of there as soon as possible. Within a few week's time we got all the dogs out of there and gave them a safe place to live. Jaci is a very sweet girl that loves attention. She gets along well with both people and other dogs. Jaci would do well in an apartment as she is more on the calm side. She is a great lap dog.
On a recent vet visit Jaci was diagnosed with heart worms but is currently undergoing treatment. Once she has recovered from her treatments, she will be available for adoption. Other than her heart worm status Jaci seems to be in good health. She is current on all her vaccinations and spayed. Jaci will need some house training as she's never lived in a home before. If interested in this sweet girl, please submit an application to www.socorescue.com.
