Punkin's Info...

I am already spayed and good with kids.

Punkin's Story...
Punkin is a beautiful kitten with classic tabby markings (circles, not stripes). Very unique! She got a great start in foster care and enjoys snuggles and lap time. She has been searching out laps since she could walk!

She recently was at the McKinney adoption center for 5 days and I got a call from the cage cleaner that she was terrorizing her brother. When I got her home she was hissing at everything that moved. I had never heard her hiss before. This lasted 3 whole days before she settled down.

Something scared the living daylights out of her, because I am convinced this was purely out of fear. She never bothered to scratch. She has settled down and will not be going back to the adoption center, so we need to find her a home from the comforts of the internet!

Click on the video link. This is her couch racing, encounters another cat, starts playing with his tail and no hissing. Remember that just a few days earlier she was hissing at everything! Punkin is looking for a great forever lap!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Punkin, a Plano American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Plano, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Plano.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plano already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plano breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plano paves the way for another one to be saved.
