Gracie's Story...
Gracie #16-364. Arrived 7/21/16 at 2 years old.
Gracie came to us as a girl obvious to be down on her luck. She has beautiful ice blue eyes but they tell us a story of emptiness. Gracie shows us signs of a life outdoors. It has taken her some time to be able to walk on the indoor flooring and to feel comfortable in her environment. Gracie enjoys the comfort of being pet and a soft voice. Gracie shows us signs of wanting to chase after a tossed toy and we know she has it in her, but she is still a little bit unsure. Gracie becomes bonded to her companion quickly and wants to be with them all the time. Gracie enjoys chasing the birds in the play yard for entertainment. Gracie will be a devoted friend to her friend who chooses her as a life companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie, a West Babylon Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in West Babylon, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in West Babylon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Babylon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Babylon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Babylon paves the way for another one to be saved.
