Fletcher is a 35 lb, 7 year old beagle boy. He looks part basset hound- he's got a long body and stumpy legs. He is leash trained and knows sit. He is a very calm guy. Loves running around the yard. He seems well mannered. He has been mingling with dogs of all sizes and has been doing fine with them. Just occasionally he can be a little pushy (such as barking at them). Came from a Fremont shelter.
Update- he was in a foster home for two weeks, and they say that he was a great dog. He was very well house trained, and fit right in to their home.
As with all our dogs, he will leave freshly bathed with all his medical records - all vaccines, spay and rabies certs, microchip - new leash and collar and your Welcome to your New Dog folder of information.
If you will email an application, it helps us get to know you and your family better so we can make good suggestions for a successful adoption. Let us know what you want and expect from your dog and what you will be giving to your new pal in terms of time, activities and your level of training. We know our dogs well and there's someone for everyone!
