Jackson's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Jackson's Story...
Good day friends, allow me to introduce myself. I’m Jackson and I’m a 12 year old fellow weighing in at 68 pounds. My Mom started a new job recently and she has to travel quite a bit. She knew I needed an owner who could spend more time with me so she contacted AGB for help. I have been well taken care of and you will not find a more sweet and loving boy. I love kids and other dogs but cats don’t interest me at all. I walk well on leash and I know all basic commands. I will warn you that I am a cuddle bug so don’t be surprised if I snuggle up to you when you sit down. If you want to add the sweetest Golden in the world to your family, I’m just the guy for you! So go ahead and submit your application and be sure to ask to meet me, Gentleman Jackson.
PS...I'm available for the seniors for seniors program which waives my adoption fee for adopters 65 and older.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jackson, a BIRMINGHAM Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in BIRMINGHAM, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in BIRMINGHAM.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in BIRMINGHAM already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a BIRMINGHAM breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in BIRMINGHAM paves the way for another one to be saved.
