Sometimes the Second Time is a Charm …
Angel and Sophie are hoping their second chance at a forever home will be a charm. The girls were adopted on July 5, 2015 and returned to our rescue when their owner experienced unexpected life circumstances. These resilient girls are not letting it get them down! They know the right forever home is out there!
The girls are a bonded pair. Sophie dotes loving over Angel, watching her every move. During bath time she will stand at the edge of the tub and check to make sure Angel is okay.
Angel and Sophie are settling into their foster home. Angel tends to prefer quiet time while Sophie, still a puppy at heart, likes playing with plush squeaky toys. They get along well with the foster families three senior shih tzus. Both girls are housebroken and their foster family is trying to help them lose some weight.
Angel and Sophie are spayed, current on vaccines and recently had a dental. During Sophie’s visit with the vet two masses, one close to her mammary glands, were discovered. They have been removed and sent to the lab for analysis.

Good news update on Sophie!!! One of Sophie's masses was cancer; however, the margins were clean and they are confident that is was all removed. She will not require additional treatment. The other mass was benign. What a blessing!!!
All dogs will be spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, heart worm tested, wormed, micro-chipped and will have had 1 month of heart worm preventative, and 1 month of flea preventative before adoption.
