Roo's Story...
Roo is a sweet four-year-old Australian Cattle Dog & weighs about 38 lbs. She loves to be petted & is very affectionate. She is quiet & good in the house. She can sometimes be nervous around other dogs who get in her face, but is fine around the resident Aussie in her foster home. Roo would be great with calm kids 12+ and calm dogs. She would love a fenced yard.
Aussie Rescue only adopts out dogs to homes where they will live indoors with their families.
Roo's adoption fee is $300 to an approved applicant
You may find an application for Roo on our website at www.aussierescuemn.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roo, a Minneapolis Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
