Rainbow is a sweet black Maine coon mix kitty born in early April 2014. She proceeds with caution around new people and surroundings but is curious and interested right away. She likes to play and can entertain herself just fine playing with her turbo scratcher or batting around her little rattle toys or toy mice. If you are available to join in she thinks it's fun playing with the laser light and the feather wand toys. She also really likes to look out the window. She is an independent girl that enjoys lounging near you to be pet and may curl up on your lap every once in a while. We believe she may do best as an only pet but with a slow introduction she may be fine with other non-dominant kitties - she is afraid of dogs. She has already been spayed, has tested negative for FELV and FIV (feline immune virus), has an identification micro-chip, and is current on her vaccinations. If you are interested in giving Rainbow her forever home, please fill out the cat consultation form (on the website www.desertpawsrescue.org) or email email@example.com.
