Harry's Story...

Harry is a beautiful boy, rescued along with his 5 littermates/cousins from an apartment complex in Culpeper where a kindly caretaker had been feeding them. You would never know that Harry has ever lived anywhere but the Cat Palace - where cats rule - and life is good.

Harry is independent, but loves to interact with people, especially when treats are involved. At 10 months, he has learned about going outdoors and loves to spend part of the day bird watching and playing with his dog, GoldenDoodle Lucy. They are best buddies and love to go outdoors together first thing in the morning. They chase each other around the yard having a great time. At night, Harry likes to sleep on the bed with his feline and canine buddies.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harry, a Flint HIll Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Flint HIll, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Flint HIll.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flint HIll already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flint HIll breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flint HIll paves the way for another one to be saved.
