Lyla is a Pointer/boxer mix. She is approximately 1 1/2 years old. Lyla has completed a 6 week basic training course. She knows "sit", "down", "stay", 'leave it" and several other commands. She will also wait for her food bowl to be put down before beginning to eat. She is a good listener who will mind her manners with occasional reminders when she gets too excited. Lyla loves attention and is eager to be taught new skills. She has a basket of toys and loves to choose which toy she will play with next. Lyla also likes to have down time so she can lay around, take a nap and also to cuddle with you. Lyla enjoys going for early morning or evening walks. She would do best in a home as the only pet. If your family is looking for a sweet girl you might want to consider setting up a meet and greet to see if Lyla is a good fit for your family.
Adopter for Lyla must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years of age. A home visit will be required prior to this dog going to any home.
