GEORGE's Story...
George is our 7 month old Pekinese male who weighs 12lbs. George has overcome many obstacles in his short life, and has really become a happy, playful, smart boy. He may be shy at first, with a little patience, and letting him learn he can trust (and you have treats) he becomes a happy tail wagging family member. He is more self assured around other dogs to follow, but is gaining his own self confidence daily. George loves his toys, bones and running in the yard with our other dogs, and is polite with his pack social skills. He is potty trained, and gets along well cats. George has learned to enjoy lap and cuddle time, and enjoys a good belly rub. He has a smile that will melt your heart, and eyes that look into your soul. George has come along way, and now he is ready for his place in the world.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GEORGE, a Wheaton Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Wheaton, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Wheaton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wheaton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wheaton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wheaton paves the way for another one to be saved.
