Hi there, I'm Leo!  I am a sweet kitty who is just a HONEY!  I am a 4-1/2 years old and I have a beautiful gray tabby and white long coat.  I am a little sassy but I am starting to warm up to the shelter animals.  I haven't been around dogs much but I seem to do okay on those rare occasions I am with a dog.  I am doing great with the male cats at the shelter but I like to pick on the female cats.  I haven't been around kids a whole lot so you'll have to ask the shelter staff about that when you come and visit me.  :)  Come see me soon, fall in love and take me home!

The Pepin County Humane Society has been in business for close to 30 years. We are a very small shelter with only 5 dog kennels & 9 cat kennels. Because we're so small we are able to get to know the animals that cross our path VERY well. PLEASE NOTE it is our policy NOT to do same-day adoptions.  We do encourage you to come in to meet the animals and fill out the adoption paperwork.  Talk to any staff member for details.  Fees for adoption are as follows: *DOGS-$150.00 includes Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Rabies and Distemper Vax, Heartworm Test, Fecal test, Deworming & ID Tag. *CATS-$100.00 includes Spay/Neuter, Feline Leukemia Test, Fecal test, Rabies and Distemper vaccines & De-worming. We run on a very small limited budget so cash donations are always welcome. Volunteers for fundraising projects are needed. Come visit us! We are located 1 1/2 hours from the Twin Cities & 30 miles southwest of Eau Claire, WI on Highway 85. For more detailed directions, call or e-mail us, we'd be glad to help you. *No appointment is necessary to come & visit our animals. Our business hours are: Daily 5-7:30pm and Saturday 9am-11am. Otherwise by appointment. Pepin County Humane Society PO Box 113 1008 West Wells Street Durand, WI 54736 Phone: (715) 672-8389

About Pepin County Humane Society

About Our Shelter...

The Pepin County Humane Society has been in business for close to 30 years. We are a very small shelter with only 5 dog kennels & 8 cat kennels. Because we're so small it's very difficult to find homes for all our homeless pets. Also, because we're so small we are able to get to know the animals that cross our path VERY well.
We run on a very small limited budget so cash donations are always welcome. Volunteers for fundraising projects are needed.

We are currently doing several fundraisers. Contact the shelter for info.
