Timmy's Story...
Loudly purring brothers Carl and Timmy were born in June 2016. Both of these little guys are super sweet and social. They are living in a foster home with kids, dogs and other cats. Carl and Timmy are playful and wrestle with each other a lot. They LOVE people and start purring when they see a human walking toward them to give them some attention. Timmy is super friendly and seeks out human affection. He snuggles with and sleeps curled up with a stuffed teddy bear. Timmy does not have much to say, but he has a loud purr. He makes sure to be in EVERY photo, even when we are trying to get photos of his brother and sister. He has perfected the art of photo bombing--makes sense since he is one photogenic kitten!

Timmy has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. His adoption fee is $60.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Timmy, a Manitowoc Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Manitowoc, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Manitowoc.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manitowoc already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manitowoc breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manitowoc paves the way for another one to be saved.
