Ohmigosh! Hi! I'm so glad you clicked on my pic! My name's Benjamin (formerly Ruger) and I'm wondering if I can be your new best friend. My foster mom thinks I'm about 2-3 years old, and we're pretty sure I'm a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog mixed with a Pointer, but on the inside I'm just a tiny lap dog who just wants to snuggle and love on my humans. I'm already neutered, house trained, and know basic commands. I love other dogs, all people, and especially kids - I really love kids! I met a kitty once. She was in a kitty condo in the garage, so we didn't get to interact (she was scared of me), but I was definitely more interested in the kitty's food than the kitty herself. I'm a big love bug and I really just want a family who will give me lots of attention and love. I'm an inside dog who loves to take naps on the couch, get snuggles, hang out, play with toys, get belly rubs, sleep some more, and then maybe get more snuggles. I do not like to be crated, but that's ok because I behave when you leave me out in the house. I would do best with another dog to keep me company when my humans leave, I just get so lonely when they aren't home! I like to go on walks and my foster mom always tells me how wonderful I am on a leash, I don't pull or lunge or bark or anything!!! I am heartworm positive, but we're working on that, and those pesky critters will soon be a thing of the past! Do you think I'd be the kind of guy you'd like to have in your life? If so, please fill out an adoption application to see if we'd be a good fit!
