Dolly's Story...
7/30/2016
MOM DIED AND THESE DOGS NEED A NEW HOME! Dolly is a little Chihuahua, no more than about 5 pounds. Blanca is a Bichon Poodle. They are both girls and are probably between 8-10. Both will need to be groomed, vetted, and they both will need to have a dental done. Family is willing to donate the funds needs for the dogs. Here is their story...Their 96 year old mom passed away two weeks ago. Her son and daughter have been coming and taking care of them. The son is fighting cancer and he's having a hard time walking. Dolly and Blanca are trained to go potty inside on potty pads. I am going to try hard to find them a new home. Both dogs need to stay together and they're both very sweet and loving dogs. If you have room in your heart and home, please let us know. Also if you'd be interested in fostering them that would also be a possibility. I am trying only to have to change homes one time. They are good staying where they are for a short period of time. The dogs are located in Stockton so if you'd like to meet them we could arrange. I really want to try and help these dogs find a new home. They lost their mom and they deserve a new one who will love and take care of them. Outside of their teeth, they appear to be very healthy and well taken care of. Please SHARE this posting to increase their chances of finding a good new home. Please contact Poke-A-Dot's Rescue with any questions. Thanks much!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dolly, a Lodi Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Lodi, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Lodi.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lodi already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lodi breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lodi paves the way for another one to be saved.
