If you are interested in meeting Kiley, please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.fluffbuddies.org/infoquestions.html

Kiley is a beautiful Russian Blue/dilute tortoiseshell mix, born approximately March 12, 2016. She is playful and social, but also independent. She is becoming a lap cat and sleeps on the bed every night.

She loves to play with anything that moves. Kiley also enjoys knocking moveable items off tables, counters, shelves, etc. and watching them tumble to the floor. Whether pencils, remotes, toothbrushes, hair ties or whatever else, the item becomes the newest toy to chase. Kiley has not interacted with small children and have had no experiences with dogs. She does get along with other cats and kittens.

Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kiley, a North Highlands Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in North Highlands, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in North Highlands.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Highlands already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Highlands breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Highlands paves the way for another one to be saved.
