INDIA was rescued by us from death row at a high kill shelter. She's a quiet, mellow little girl, who would be perfect for a mellower adult or quiet couple. She is patient and tolerant of all, and she's adopted many kittens who were not her own, grooming them so they feel loved and cared for. She will talk to you and let you know what she needs, but is demure and not pushy.

INDIA loves affection and head rubs, and does come over to you, but she might take a few days to warm up in a new environment. INDIA is perfect as a quiet, undemanding cat, or a second cat to mother and love another.

She is really a special girl - maternal, playful, caring and sweet. She would be the favorite in any family if she is given the chance.

INDIA gets along with everyone. Give this gorgeous girl a chance at a forever home!

We are open to adopting out to good, qualified, loving, forever homes not in our immediate local area - please inquire. It depends on the circumstances and methods of transport.
