Tucker's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Tucker's Story...
Tucker is a 4 year old male pomeranian. He weighs 9 pounds right now, but needs to gain a few more pounds. He is up to date on his shots, heart worm negative, neutered, and microchipped. He is house trained, crate trained, great with cats, dogs, and kids. He is currently around big dogs, and his foster parents think it would be best if he was around medium and small dogs to help him come out of his "shell" more.

Tucker was in pretty rough shape when the rescue got him. His foster parents have been working very hard with him. He is gaining some weight, coming out of his shell, and his little personality is blooming more and more every day. He will need lots of attention, love, and dedication. He is shy and slow to trust, but he is so forgiving and sweet. He doesn't bark unless the doorbell rings, and doesn't jump up on furniture.

Tucker also has some unique features. His back right foot has no toes, so it's just one big pad, but he walks on it, and occasionally runs on it, just fine! His back left foot has 3 toes instead of 4, again, no issues. He also has an underbite, so his one canine tooth will hang out, and it's just too cute!

Although Tucker may take some time to become who he truly is, with love, patience, and time, he will evolve into a wonderful dog given the characteristics he has already!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker, a Norman Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Norman, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Norman.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norman already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norman breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norman paves the way for another one to be saved.
