Clay's Story...
Clay - 1 year old male Jack Russell Terrier/Miniature Schnauzer mix. He came into the shelter as a stray shortly after 4th of july. He had no interest at all…could be because he was rather a matted mess, but the good volunteers at the shelter cleaned him up and emerged a cute little guy.We aren't sure of his breed but he could have a little Wirehaired Fox Terrier in him. Clay is great with other dogs…. He likes to play and is a friendly happy go lucky boy. Clay was a little needy when he first got to his foster home but has turned out to be a confident sweet little guy. Clay is approximately 17 pounds.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clay, a Redondo Beach Jack Russell Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Redondo Beach, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Redondo Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Redondo Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Redondo Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Redondo Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
