Hi everyone. My name is Chance. I’m a 3-4 year old, 50 pound Golden boy. I was found on the side of the road with my friend, Shadow, who is a 3-4 year old Black Lab. I was very sick so Shadow was protecting me and didn't leave my side. The lady who found us was very sweet so Shadow trusted her and let her help us. A neighbor and a nice police officer kept traffic away from us while we got loaded into the car. We went to an emergency clinic. Another lady contacted AGB for help since our owner could not be found. AGB took us in and we are so glad! They’re giving us great care and won’t give up until they find a perfect family who will let us stay together since we love each other so much. AGB found that Shadow is heartworm positive and I had a large tumor on my kidney which required surgery to remove. I was also severely dehydrated and had an infection in my eyes and ears which is being treated. We are good boys, extremely loving and sweet. We’re housetrained and know basic commands. We like other dogs and to go for car rides. We are very bonded and like to do everything together. In fact, we've even been known to share a food bowl even if we don’t have to. If you have room in your heart and home for two special and sweet boys, I promise you will be loved and protected forever! We hope to meet you soon, Shadow and Chance.
