Elsa is a sweet 3 year old girl that was picked up in St. Tammany Parish Louisiana scrounging for food near a dumpster, heavily infested with fleas and heartworm positive. She LOVES giving kisses, cuddles and being your shadow. Elsa is a smart girl that learns new things quickly. She has already learned sit, down, uh uh, off, leave it and we are working on wait. She does well walking on a leash but will pull a little if she is curious to see something new along the way. She also does well for a bath, nail trim and ear cleaning but is not very fond of having her teeth brushed.
She lives with a female and male Rottie and does well with them but prefers being close to humans. At the shelter a cat walked up nose to nose with her and she showed no interest, just watched it walk away. Elsa is slowly learning what toys are and how to play with them. Her favorite is a rope toy that she shakes and tosses around and she will follow a ball when thrown slowly.
Elsa is currently going through heartworm treatment and will be spayed when it is complete.
