Molly has the perfect temperment for a pet. I am sorry to admit that I am giving up on her because I can no longer handle the additional responsibilities on top of the other stresses in my life. As a full-time working mother of a toddler and a preschooler, with another dog that is huge and difficult to manage, I have not been able to provide a happy life for Molly. I hope someone else has the time and energy for her.

Size: MEDIUM.
For a German Shepherd, she is small. Compared to other dogs, she is medium-to-large because she is 48lbs.

Lifestyle & Personality:
Perfect for a family with kids because she is very gentle and sweet. Gets along with EVERYONE. Would never hurt a soul. If a kid, not knowing any better, hurts her, she would yelp and run away. You can take food from her and she'd never think to snap at you.
Completely potty-trained: She was potty-trained since she was a puppy and never had an issue since--even when placed in unfamiliar environments such as kennels, hotels, and relatives' homes.

Health:
You will receive her medical records to see that she is spayed with necessary shots. However,

1. She has gastro-intestinal problems. I provide a 50/50 mix of regular food (IAMS) and digestive-sensitive food to cut down on her vomiting. Kirkland Signature™ Nature's Domain™ is most affordable: 35lb Bag for $37.
2. Sheds heavily. Hair will be everywhere in clumps if not brushed thoroughly once a week. May have a skin problem due to clumps of hair frequently falling out with follicle roots. I use a shedding tool for at least 15 minutes due to excessive loose hair.
3. Barks loudly. Not incessantly, but if she hears something, she barks very loudly for a minute.

If you don't mix wheat-free food that's made for sensitive stomachs alone with normal dog food (not cheap food, but food most people use like IAMS), Molly will vomit bile every 2 or 3 days. Her bile is clear liquid with yellow liquid. It is ALL liquid, so it is light, not thick, with no food or substances. IF you do high quality food with IAMS, she will vomit bile on average of once every 8 or 9 days. The vet doesn't know what to make of it. Molly doesn't have a disease, she is just sensitive.
