Aditi's Story...
Hi, I’m Aditi. I’m a very unusual looking kitty with an unusually big heart. A mean person dumped me and my best friend, Holly, in the alley where the feral kitties live. We were both pregnant and had our babies under an abandoned house. A few weeks later our foster mommy was walking by and I came up to her for help. She took us and our six babies home with her. Then Holly suddenly died, and I took over raising her little boys as well as my babies. I’m very calm and patient, even when the kittens jump all over me and play with my tail. My favorite things in life are the babies, wet food, and my feather wand toy! Will you take me home with you – and maybe one of my babies, too.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aditi, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
