Angel's Story...
I was found alone at McDonald's and am learning to explore my new environment. I just learned how to play and swat and chase things that move really fast, and now I can't stop! My foster family calls me the Mini Mayhem Maker! I am still a shy little guy, but I am also very sweet and lonely, and really really want to find my new home. I love scratches on my head and behind my ear, and under my chin and all down my neck - but my favorite is when I roll over for a nice belly scratch. IF you see me at an adoption event, I probably look pretty tense and nervous, and I still like to hide until I make sure everything is ok. But once I get to know you, I'll start purring like an engine just as soon as I see you, and then I'll be all over you - and I mean ALL OVER you! Please take me home so you can see how wonderful I really truly am :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angel, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
