Captain Cuddles's Story...
Hi everyone! I'm Captain Cuddles and here's my story! It was raining hard the night I was rescued by a nice lady. We were 3 little kittens, only two weeks old. Our momma cat was doing the best she could to keep us dry but the puddles were getting deeper and the weather was getting worse. We were brought to our foster home in the middle of the night. It was very scary, being away from mom, but before we knew it we were warm & dry and getting lots of human love, which didn't turn out to bad! Now we are so full of love. My foster mama calls me Captain Cuddles because i am the biggest cuddler and love to be close to my hoomans! I hope to find my forever home soon, hopefully with another kitty to play with.....maybe even with one of my siblings!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Captain Cuddles, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
