Sarge's Story...
Sarge and his little sister Siva were found by a good Samaritan in Land-O-Lakes who rescues parrots. His little sister was found first alone in the rain. She was possibly abandoned due to being so small. About a week later, Sarge appeared all by himself. I suspect something bad may have happened to his mommy. Sarge and his sister were kept in a separate cages and were cared for until they joined my foster family a few weeks later. They were scared at first but quickly found out how fun it is to be a fluffy and adorable kitten inside a safe warm house. He has beautiful medium length gray fur with big green eyes. He is shy and will need some time to adjust. Like all young kittens, Sarge is very active and loves to play. He would love to get to stay with Siva or find a family with another young fur baby. Sarge is looking for his forever family so he never has to be alone and scared again. Please email me if you would like to know more about Sarge, Siva or any of his foster siblings. Maybe you can find a place on your heart and home for this sweet little guy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sarge, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
