Maverick's Story...
Maverick is an 11 month old Shepherd/Doberman Pinscher mix. He's a good looking and playful boy that would make a great running partner or playmate for another active dog. He's been waiting patiently for the perfect home that will love him and spend time with him. He was saved from the shelter just before they were going to put him to sleep. He will make someone a great companion as he's very eager to please. He's high energy so needs a home with a lot of activity. NO CATS. This is a courtesy post so please contact calidogrescue@gmail.com or (858) 945-6186 (text preferred) directly for more info. Thanks!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maverick, a calimesa German Shepherd Dog/Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Doberman Pinscher for sale in calimesa, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in calimesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in calimesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a calimesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in calimesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
