Scraggles Loves Fairy Tales

Once upon a time there was a fairy princess who fell on hard times. She was mistreated and starved and ended up in a shelter and given a crummy name like Scraggles when she really was a Fairy! Well, she busted out of that place and set off on an enchanted journey to Chattanooga, TN, all 7.8 pounds of her!

The 2nd picture shows the shape this baby was in when we got her.She spent 3 years under that nasty spell and her ability to trust has been badly damaged, but she's still a spritely 3 year old fairy! And she's trying. She came to a small castle where a nice lady said she could break the spell. She got Scraggles all the vet care she needs including a dental. Unfortunately, Scraggles has been diagnosed with epilepsy and is on a low dose of phenobarbital. The nice lady is teaching her all about how nice it is to be held and loved on because this little fairy didn't get a lot of that during the spell. Scraggles is house trained! She doesn't like to be held, and she is also hand shy.

If she's sleepy, she will roll over so you can give her a tummy rub! Sometimes she gets a little wobbly and disoriented, so we are testing her to see what causes these episodes. She's waiting for the final magic that will break the spell...a family of her own who will love her just as she is. Let's give Scraggles the Happily Ever After she so deserves! Scraggles needs someone who is very patient and willing to let her adjust at her own speed.
