Billy's Story...
Billy is a toy fox terrier, approximately 16 pounds and is a fun fun goof ball. Here is what his foster mom has to say about him.......He loves to ride in the car, always wants to be near you, he is a lap dog for sure, crate trained and house broken. He is very good with kids, not aggressive with other dogs and is good around cats. Billy is an all around good and easy boy. He would be considered low to medium energy. He really just wants to be with his people and cuddle. He loves to sleep in the bed with his foster mommy and snuggles against her all night. Billy is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and kept on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. He is currently being fostered in Tennessee, but we will transport him out of state to an approved adopter. We have transport pick up locations in VA, MD, PA, NJ, and CT. Our adoption fee is $275.00 and the transport fee is $145.00. Please email us at brighthopeadoptions@gmail.com to receive an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Billy, a Washington DC Toy Fox Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Toy Fox Terrier for sale in Washington DC, or seeking a Toy Fox Terrier dog from a breeder in Washington DC.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington DC already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington DC breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Toy Fox Terrier breeders who help with Toy Fox Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington DC paves the way for another one to be saved.
