PERSEUS's Story...
Perseus is approximately 6 months old as of 12/12/16
He is a very shy and scared boy in new environments. He will need an adopter who is willing to have patience with him, and let him come out of his shell in his own time. He does love to play with wand toys with his foster family and watch the birdies out the window. We would recommend a house with older children, or no children, as fast movements can scare him. Perseus can be seen at the adoption Center of Petco, 6220 W. 95th Street, Oak Lawn, Illinois

Perseus Adoption Donation is: $115, which includes: Neuter, Rabies, Distemper, Microchip, Dewormer and FELV/FIV testing (Negative).

If you would like more information about Perseus, please email us at: SIGAdoptionTeam@gmail.com or inquire from this site.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PERSEUS, a Highland Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Highland, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Highland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Highland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Highland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Highland paves the way for another one to be saved.
