Hi there, everyone! My name is Ivy. Aren't I beautiful? I am a sweet girl who likes belly rubs and who will follow you around to be petted! I also have a playful spirit, and like many types of cat types! I like people, but I can be a little selective about who I allow in my inner circle. That's not unheard of, right?! Once you've earned my trust, I promise that we will be great friends. I'm very loving and quite fun. If I'm really comfortable with you, I'll even let you brush me and rub my belly. My dream home would be a quiet place where I can move about at my own pace. I'm best suited for someone who is loving but patient and will allow me to decide what I'm ready for. I hope you'll highly consider meeting me. I'm quite a gem. I just need some time to let me shine! I have not been tested with dogs or other cats, but that's not necessarily a dealbreaker! With a proper intro to them, I could be just fine! My adoption fee of $100.00 includes my spay surgery, deworming, microchip, up-to-date vaccinations, and my FIV/FELV Combo Test. I've even started on my monthly flea and heartworm preventatives - what more could you ask for?! If you'd like to meet me, please fill out an online application at pawmettolifeline.org/adopt or call a counselor at (803) 465-9170. Talk to you soon!

**Ivy is in foster at this time, but with an approved application for adoption, you can set up a time to visit with her.**

About Pawmetto Lifeline

About Our Rescue Group...

Pawmetto Lifeline is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit animal rescue organization solving pet overpopulation in the Midlands. There are over 20,000 homeless pets in the Midlands and over 17,000 are euthanized each year. Our plan uniquely positions us to correct this problem through four distinct initiatives: Adoption, Medical, Rescue Collaboration, and Education efforts.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Pawmetto Lifeline is open for adoptions Monday-Friday from 12 noon-7 pm, Saturday from 10 am-7 pm and Sunday from 12 noon-5 pm. Some cats are also available for adoption daily at all Petsmart locations in the Columbia area. (Currently there are Petsmart locations in Harbison, Lexington and the Northeast on Two Notch Road.)

Our Adoption Process...

All prospective adopters are required to complete an application and go through a short interview process. Once approved the adoption fees are paid and the adopter is able to bring the pet home the same day.

Adoption fees for cats and kittens are $100 and include their spay or neuter, all vaccinations appropriate for their age and they are microchipped.

Adoption fees for dogs and puppies start at $150 and include their spay or neuter, all vaccinations appropriate for their age and they are microchipped.
