Harley's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Harley's Story...
Harley is a 2 year old male wheaten terrier mix who weighs around 15 lbs. He is UTD on vaccinations, and is neutered. This adorable boy is sure to make someone a wonderful companion. He's good with other dogs, (prefers submissive females). Enjoys attention and is desperate for your love. He is a smaller sized terrier mix, around 16 lbs that would fit well into a home where he can be with his person most the day. He is energetic, but chases the ball and jumps high. (A six foot fence would be ideal for this boy) If you are looking for a dog to jog with and will jump for joy every time he sees you, this is your boy!

If YOU would like to meet Harley, please fill out our online application at: www.secondchancesalem.org His adoption fee is: $250

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley, a Salem Wheaten Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wheaten Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Salem, or seeking a Wheaten Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wheaten Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Wheaten Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
