Monkey Man's Story...
Monkey Man was found with his 2 sisters at less than a week old. The Vet bottle fed them until 4 weeks old, then they were fostered in a foster home. The 2 sisters have been adopted, so Monkey Man remains. He is loved and his foster mom would keep him, but there’s not enough room there. Since he's not at the shelter, you'll need to pre-qualify to adopt before seeing him in my home in Waterford. He's very smart and learns words quickly. He understands "No, Up, dinner, no bite, use your paw, and Sit! He loves to watch the birds and squirrels outside, and play the bug game on the Tablet. I have more videos on utube of Monkey Man. He'll need lots of attention, and a house that's baby proofed, as he's still a baby. He's been De-wormed, and had his 1st & 2nd Distemper shots, Aids & Leukemia Negative. To start the process, email Carrie: carrienylen@comcast.net and give your name and number.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Monkey Man, a Taftville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Taftville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Taftville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Taftville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Taftville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Taftville paves the way for another one to be saved.
