Griffin's Story...
I was at a local shelter and my time there had run out. I am one lucky dude as I got pulled in the nick of time. I am a beautiful young mainecoon mix that just loves life. I am very playful and am just full of mischief. I adore attention and would really like to find that special family to spoil me. So if you are in the area look me up, you definitely won't be disappointed.

Please call CARE @ (804) 288-9797 or apply online and ask my foster mom Connie all about me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Griffin, a Richmond Maine Coon kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Maine Coon kitten from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
