If sweet older gals are your preference, please take a look at Amber - this beauty with the golden/reddish coat would love to find a family to love her forever! We think she might be a mixture of Golden Retriever with Basset Hound because she has those adorable short legs!
Amber's foster mom tells us that she is incredibly sweet and easy to walk on the leash. And look at her smile! She is a gentle gal with a sunny disposition. And she is good with other dogs, too. She loves everyone and would make a wonderful addition to any family willing to give her room & board although, due to her age, she would do better in a home with older children or someone with a quieter lifestyle. Amber is somewhat hearing impaired but it doesn't interfere with her happy outlook on life! She always has that smile on her face - she is an easy, sweet and gentle dog.
From her foster mom: "I hope she finds her forever home with someone that will love her and care for her and feed her Wendy's Plain Jr. Cheeseburgers!!! She loves them!"
If you'd like to meet Amber, please fill out an application at www.ehrdogs.org and mention her name - AMBER SCAS!
