Born 5/29/16: female Brown Tabby DSH

This is Tesla about 9 weeks old. She is a domestic short hair with very different markings. Her hair is a little on the springy side, and she has black stripes on her body and black polka dots on her tummy with an overcast of light orange; her eyes are golden. This little girl got lost from her mommy and siblings and ended up in the under mount of a Tesla car, thus her name. A good neighbor looked for her and could hear her crying but could not find her. They called the local fire department, and the firemen came and were able to find and rescue her. The good neighbor was not able to keep her, so we took her into our foster care. She is a lucky little girl and she knows it. She is very grateful and has become a very loving little girl. She was such a tiny little thing but is growing nicely and eating great!

Tesla is litter box perfect and never has had an accident. She would be forever grateful to have her own home where she will never have to see the inside of a car engine again! If Tesla is the girl for you, she will be available after August 22nd.

Tesla is fostered in the Sacramento area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tesla, a Davis Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Davis, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
