My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gorgeous, Young Marilyn Is Eager to Find her Furever Home
Medium-size, black and tan, short-coat, female German Shepherd Good with other dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Unknown Older Children Preferred

Under Care: Marilyn was found as a stray in Phoenix by our volunteers and is currently waiting to be
spayed. But she is already anxious to find her new family. She is a bit shy, but with a loving, patient family, she’ll come out of her shell in no time.
Marilyn is a gorgeous, young girl and does wonderfully on leash. She has shown that she is very in tune with her handler as she walks. She was excited to walk the neighborhood and check out the sights. She is likely be a great companion for hiking. She enjoys being with people and would likely follow her owner wherever he/she goes.
Seeing as Marilyn needs to build her confidence, she would likely do best with an active family with older children who can praise and love her. Marilyn is very smart and would thrive with obedience training.
As always, if you are interested in a Saving Paws dog, you must fill out our online application to get the approval process started. We will only schedule meet and greets with an approved application! All staff members are volunteers and aren’t compensated for their time and expenses. Many juggle family and full-time careers while volunteering at Saving Paws. Please be patient as sometimes it takes up to 5 days to process an application.
