Ginny's Story...
Ginny is a 2 yr old, 55 pound pit mix that came to us from Oklahoma with a litter of puppies and is now ready to start her new life. She gets along well with other dogs and loves to play with them! Ginny is kenneled in the day while we work and at night is quiet in the kennel. She is house trained and can be a little cautious when meeting strangers. Ginny knows sit, speak and learning lay down (down). She will fetch a ball but needs a little work bringing it back. This social girl likes to follow her people and be in the same room as them. Ginny has been microchipped, spayed, is up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, and tested negative for heartworm. Call 507-451-4512 to meet Ginny in her foster home. Her adoption fee is 200.00. (AC)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginny, a Owatonna Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Owatonna, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Owatonna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Owatonna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Owatonna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Owatonna paves the way for another one to be saved.
