My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"PENNY" -- is a 2-y.o. purebred smooth-coated Border Collie, given up for exhibiting fear-aggression and herding the children in her old home, where she lived peacefully with a cat and bunny. She has shown a little interest in the kitty at her foster home but will take a game of ball over the kitty any day. She gets along beautifully with other dogs. She loves to play, especially with tennis balls. Penny is beginning some basic agility in her foster home and works willingly for treats. She would be an awesome agility or flyball dog for an experienced dog owner who can help her through her fears. She LOVES MEN! Penny is crate-trained, spayed, UTD on shots, heartworm neg. an on and prevent. She is being fostered in NY State.

You MUST first fill out an adoption application AND have a home visit BEFORE being considered for any NEBCR dog. As this process can take time, we recommend that you complete these first 2 steps BEFORE inquiring about a specific dog.

For more information on Penny, or other dogs we have available for adoption, please see our web site www.NEBCR.org.
