Brittany's Story...
People are her favorite thing!

Brittany is an exotic beauty reminiscent of those found curled in the lap of an Egyptian pharaoh. She may be regal looking but she is a big ol’ people pleaser and has a super playful personality. People are her favorite toy and she can hang out next to you and play with you for hours.

She will be the first one to coming running to greet you at the door. She loves to snuggle up in bed at night and stay there to greet you in the morning. She is very sweet and loves, loves, loves to be petted. If you want a cat that thinks you are
the cat’s meow and just wants to be your best friend for life...Brittany is your girl!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brittany, a Houston Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
