If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website, for details about our fees and process, and to complete our Pre-Qualification Form. ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis. We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes.
I'm Idella, the kitten with the white feet. I really like to explore and am very fearless. When the big black dog barked at me I just fluffed up my tail and stared him down. I like to sit with people but I am not into cuddling yet. I also have a brother who I love to play with, we both like to chase string and get lots of exercise that way. We do make an adorable pair. Of course we are both litter boxed trained.
Both Ian and Idella have tested positive for FIV, most likely inherited from their mother. Sometimes it is something they can outgrow versus getting it from a bite. FIV cannot be transferred to humans. It can be transmitted to other cats through a deep bite into the muscle from an infected cat. It does not generally effect their health or longevity as long as they are kept healthy and keep their shots up to date. Be sure to check out Idella in case you are looking for a lovable pair to keep one another company.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
