Koda is a 2 year old people person of a dog who loves, loves, loves to make new friends! This social butterfly would love to score a person of his own who'd like a happy, enthusiastic sidekick to take along on adventures large and small. Koda loves to play with dogs his size and larger, but his active play style is a bit much for smaller dogs and he tends to scare them. Dog savvy cats are pretty ok in Koda's book, but he's not a fan of bully cats and tends to want to chase them to give them a piece of his mind. Kids are very much Koda's cup of tea, he can't get enough of the wee ones and love any opportunity to take Pit-n-Kid photos of this happy guy when he's around the youngins. Koda has house manners appropriate for a guy of his age and activity level. Crates are not his favorite thing in the world, but he'll put up with them if he has to. He's super food motivated and easy to train, he'd be thrilled to find someone who would enjoy trick training, he'd be aces at that. Koda would love to have a fenced yard, but he'd also be fine as an apartment dweller with an active person. Overall, Koda is a pretty typical happy, enthusiastic young pittie, exactly the way we like 'em. Does he sound like the guy you've been looking for? Email to find out more!

Our adoption fee is $195. This covers spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, all age appropriate vaccines, and any needed vet care.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption Approval Process for South of the Bully

• An Adoption Application must be completed and approved. We call and check vet references to make sure any current pets are up to date with vaccinations and check length of time under vet care. We review all their current pets and ask questions about their temperament to make sure the dog they want to adopt would be a good fit.

• If a dog has been chosen, a meet and greet is arranged if requested AFTER the application is approved. If they have other pets, we also like them to meet at this time, if possible.

• The final step is a home visit. If the home visit is approved the potential adopters can begin their 14 day trial adoption period. Our adoption fee is $195 which includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations and microchip. If for some reason the dog isn’t a fit in their home we refund $95 of the adoption fee within the 14 day trial period. This is all listed in our Adoption Contract.

• We offer training support and resources for the lifetime of the dog once adopted. Our contract states that if for any reason they cannot continue to provide care for one of our dogs that it be returned to our rescue.
