Bertie's Story...
This is Bertie!

Bertie is a Cairn Terrier mix - he is an older distinguished gentleman who would love a home that he can sleep all day and cuddle all night. He’s can be an animated guy who loves to kind of stick his nose into everything that’s going on in the house. He’s healthy, ready to go and gets along with everybody. He would do great in an office setting - as he sleeps under the admin desk in the Wonder Dog office.

Bertie does tend to mark in the house - so would need to wear a belly band to prevent this (this is a product of being neutered later in life).

Bertie is not a barker, is very sweet, gets along with other dogs and would be fine in a house with a family. He is an absolute DOLL. He loves everyone. He just needs a loving home that won't mind his quirks. If you want the best, sweetest, calm dog, Bertie is your man. Bertie is about 12 or 13 pounds.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bertie, a San Francisco Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in San Francisco, or seeking a Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in San Francisco.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Francisco already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Francisco breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Cairn Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Francisco paves the way for another one to be saved.
