Poor Pearl. She just can't catch a break . . . simply for being a puppy.
Someone in Arkansas adopted Pearl when she was just about 7 weeks old, a little white fluffball as cute as a snowball in summer. Incredibly, about 2 weeks later they decided to give Pearl up because "she grew too big"! What??!! She's a baby -- thank goodness she was healthy and growing!! So Pearl made her way to another family who kept her another 2 weeks until they decided it really wasn't the right time to have a puppy.

So now at almost 14 weeks old, Princess Pearl is just about 20 pounds of pure Love and we know someone out there will be happy right NOW with however big she gets . . . as long as they're truly ready for a puppy!! Pearl is a super sweet and social puppy who loves belly rubs and running with the big dogs! She loves to meet new people, cuddle up next to you and will follow you anywhere. She's been fostered in a home with other dogs and she's playful with them (sometimes too playful!) and if no one's up for a romp, she is happy to toss her toys all by herself! But she is no "pushover puppy". Due to her extreme cuteness, Pearl has learned over time "cute" lets her get away with things and she tries to use it to her advantage. That might be fine now, but if she continues on that path of being super spoiled, soon she'll be a 60 pound girl who thinks "Her Way" is the "Only Way" -- not a good idea. Pearl will do best in a home where her people understand pack leadership and are willing to set boundaries for her. She is very smart and takes to training very easily. In fact, her new foster mom is already giving her boundaries and Pearl loves it: she really wants to understand the rules. Pearl is about 13 - 14 weeks old, she weighs about 20 pounds and she'll be on the larger side of medium fully grown. We can't see much besides Labrador, but her ears are a dead giveaway that there's something else in there!! If you're ready for Princess Pearl, please visit www.pinkshelter.org for more information about the adoption process or click here for our online application. Full vetting included in her $300 adoption fee. Transport reimbursement is additional $140. IF YOU HAVE AOL or YAHOO PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FILE FOR OUR RESPONSE
