Spring's Story...
Meet Spring! She's a 3 year old Chihuahua mix who is currently being fostered in Alabama, but soon will be traveling north to RI to find her forever home. Spring will be an excellent dog for the person who is lucky enough to adopt her! She is very happy and sweet and loves to be with her people. She would love to have a person that would stay at home with her, but she also does well with being left during the day as long as you have plenty of loves and snuggles for her when you get home. Spring would also enjoy a home with another dog or regular doggy play dates as she loves her canine pals. Spring has not yet been kid or kitty tested. She is house and crate-trained and she is also spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped. Spring will need to go to a home with a fenced yard. If you are interested in this sweet girl who loves to snuggle just as much as she loves to play then please visit the following link for adoption information: http://www.northboundpoundpuppies.org/adoption. Her adoption fee is $250.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spring, a Mobile Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Mobile, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Mobile.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mobile already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mobile breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mobile paves the way for another one to be saved.
